Wild Lettuce Buds

Herbalists have used lettuce tea for centuries to sooth coughing, and as a mild sedative. These Wild Lettuce buds are simply splendid. The fresh buds are clipped in the fall, then washed and placed directly into alcohol. To smoke, simply dry and smoke in your favorite mix or alone. For tea, steep out the alcohol and filter. The dried buds are placed in the sun, and are dry within several hours. The stems that connect the flowers to the rest of the plant contain a high amount of the white juice that flows from the plant!
